"The only real valuable thing is intuition"

Important Intuition Vocab:
|
Intuition is defined as the ability to understand something instinctively, without the need for conscious reasoning. Intuition is often compared with emotion in that both provide us with knowledge without complete awareness. Emotion and intuition both allow for a decision to be made with a physiological feeling alone. However, unlike emotion, intuition often involves just a subconscious awareness that we do not always realize we have. This is also sometimes known as "fight or flight", an immediate epinephrine response causing us to make a particular decision.

In this TED Talk, keynote speaker Patrick Schwerdtfeger discusses learned intuition and how it develops along with our subconscious mind. |
