About
I am Gabi, artist and, ironically so, avid protester of minimalism. Born on May 20th, 1998, I have lived in Evansville all seventeen years of my life, despite having Thai descent. (I am also white, however.) People have often described me as kind, selfless, and that person that looks like Tina Belcher from Bob's Burgers; on the contrary, I also tend to procrastinate, act on impulse, and come on too strong with my emotions. It would be no lie if I said that I have drawn for nearly every day of my life since I was at least nine, and I hope to one day utilize my eight years of experience in a creative career that I will enjoy doing. I have thought about a major in sequential art, focusing heavily on concept art for games, television, or film. Although I wouldn't complain if I so happened to be an inker for comic books, either.
Theory of Knowledge has thus far been one of my absolute favorite classes throughout my years of high school. The teacher, my classmates, and the discussions we've had have made taking this class worthwhile and I look forward to the many things we will learn and discuss as the year progresses. I appreciate how this class isn't strictly epistemology and is actually a blend of many different subjects in one class. Likewise, taking this class has allowed me to further analyze my thoughts and reminisce on the reasons why things make me feel the emotions that I do. There are some things that I struggle with interpreting and fitting into our paradigm, but certainly I will adjust as I become more used to using it.
